A cafe has an ancient space deep in a narrow alley leading to the upper floor. On this second floor, you can look out from the balcony to the street. The view may not be beautiful, but it has its own charm.

The shop is run in a friendly family style. It is a bit cramped, but that creates a warm and close atmosphere.

Drinks at the shop are less diverse than other coffee shops in Hanoi. The highlights include iced or hot egg coffee, egg cocoa, and matcha egg coffee. The café also has a few other regular coffees, but most guests choose a cup of egg coffee.

The price at Giang coffee shop is very affordable, only 30,000 VND a cup. The shop also creates an egg beer at the cost of 50,000 VND. One thing that needs attention is that raw eggs are combined with various ingredients to whip up these drinks.

2. Railway cafes in Hanoi

  • Location: Phung Hung, Tran Phu, and Le Duan Streets, Hanoi, Vietnam
  • Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 21:00

Railway cafes are a range of coffee shops near the railway in the heart of Hanoi. Many cafes face the two km-long rails from Phung Hung Street to Le Duan Street, passing Tran Phu Street and the old East Gate.

The shops here do not serve coffee in a luxurious style. Still, they aim to create a new typical experience: enjoying a cup of coffee by the railroad tracks and watching the train slowly go in and out of the city (at specified hours).

Because the shops here focus on the experience of a different way of drinking coffee, beverages are not very special. However, you can easily order your favorite drink, such as orange juice, coffee, lemonade, or hot chocolate.

The price is very suitable for everyone, from 25,000 VND. And, if you don’t know which coffee shop to choose, we suggest you go to Van Café, which has both the ground floor and first floor. Both floors can give you an exciting feeling that cannot be found elsewhere.

The service staff is well trained and very gentle and attentive. You will be well taken care of from the parking lot to the service in the cafe’s space.

Its menu has various Vietnamese drinks, from coffee to fruit shakes or smoothies. All are carefully prepared and full of flavor. All decoration and layout create a sense of elegance, not too splendid enough to interfere between guests and the café space.

The highlight that has made Y Lan Coffee one of the unique coffee shops in Vietnam is the combination of many species of orchids with vibrant colors and mild fragrances. When enjoying a cup of coffee, you can admire the charming colors of various kinds of orchids.

Located in the heart of Hoi An ancient town, right on its main street- Tran Phu, Faifo Hoi An coffee shop will become an interesting stop after walking around here.

A yellow building filled with ancient space blends with the warmth of the cozy layout on the first floor, which brings you closer to each other, whether you are a newcomer or an old friend.

Stepping onto the restaurant’s terrace, you have a great chance to see the old town. The yin and yang tile roofs covered with moss and the bustling road below all give you a different feeling, something strange.

Of course, you can see the agility of the young people serving here. The team is well-trained to serve visitors in a professional and friendly way. Many of them can speak English, so you, as foreigners, will feel the distance removed.

Right from its name, you can feel more or less about the theme of this shop. Jungle Cafe has a tropical forest style, creating a warm space and interference between people and nature.

You will see many small green plants and fresh and dried flowers for decoration. With careful investment in the layout, the café creates its uniqueness.

However, its minus point is that sometimes waiting for drinks is a bit long. Additionally, if you are a foreign tourist, prepare Google Translate to communicate with the staff because most do not know English.

Its beverages include coffee, juice, tea, and yogurt. The price is higher than in other places. However, compared to the owner’s superb layout and considerable investment, it is well worth it. When you visit Nha Trang, don’t forget to visit this café and taste the exceptional jungle coffee.
