Day 1: Starting from Ha Noi (D)

Our representative will pick you up from Noi Bai Airport to your hotel in Hanoi to check in.

If you are already staying in your hotel in Hanoi, we will start from there. So, please tell us your starting point, and we will arrange and confirm the time to begin this tour.

We will do a tour from 4 to 6 hours today, exploring the highlights of the capital of Vietnam.

Explore the ancient town, which is famous for 36 old streets. We will walk on a few of the most colorful streets to learn about the daily life of the local people. You will get a lot of chances to take pictures.

Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake, a well-known lake in the heart of Hanoi, and see the turtle towers, The Huc bridge, and Tran Quoc pagoda.

Take a walk in the region of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Then, we travel to Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam, the first university in Vietnam. Now, it has become the spiritual education for all of the Vietnamese.

In the late afternoon, we enjoy the traditional performance of water puppets, which will attract you with the technique to manage the puppet to move on the water without seeing the artists.

Taste a Pho – a traditional noodle in Vietnam for dinner. You will know why it is famous in Vietnam and all around the world.

Take your free time to explore Hanoi at night. Do not forget to walk along the Bui Hien beer street.

Day 2: Hanoi – Bai Dinh – Trang An – Bicycle (B, L)

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel.

8:00 am: The car and guide pick you up at the hotel, then depart for Ninh Binh – one of the famous tourist destinations on the Red River Delta, nearly 110km south of Hanoi.

10:30 am, we visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, one of the biggest system of temples in Vietnam, located in the mountains, creating a beautiful spot.

You will stop at:

  • Tam The and Phap Chu Temples with an area of ​​up to 1,000 m2;
  • Guanyin statue;
  • Great Dalai Lama;
  • The large bronze Buddha statue in Southeast Asia;
  • Three Tam The statues, each weighs 50 tons;
  • Southeast Asia’s two big bells: 36 and 27 tons.

At noon, have lunch at a restaurant with the local food, typically goat meat and Ninh Binh burnt rice.

After lunch, we come to Trang An boat station on a boat to go along the river between the rice fields with limestone mountains, valleys, and rivers, creating a mysterious landscape.

With this famous route, you have the opportunity to visit four natural caves among the most beautiful caves in the complex of Trang An, namely Hang Lam, Hang Vap, Hang Thanh Truot, and Hang Dai.

Also, we stop to visit three spiritual points: Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, and Hanh Cung Vu Lam.

4:30 pm: You ride a bicycle to admire the peaceful village and enjoy the fresh air for 30 – 45 minutes before returning to Hanoi.

5:30 pm: The car will take you back to the hotel around 7:30 – 8:00 pm, free for dinner and explore the bustling Old Quarter, go to Dong Xuan night market, or wander around walking streets.

Day 3: Hanoi – Sapa – Ham Rong (B, L, D)

In the morning, you have breakfast at the hotel and take the check-out procedure. In case, you do not have time to eat breakfast, you can ask the hotel to help you prepare a breakfast box to taste it on the way.

7:30 am: We will pick up to depart for Sapa.

On the way, we stop at the resting point on the highway Noi Bai – Lao Cai for a cup of coffee – option.

12:30-13:00: The car arrives in Sa Pa town, which is the home of many ethnic groups, such as H’mong, Dao, and Tay.

We will have lunch at the restaurant, then check into a hotel and rest.

In the afternoon, we will start by climbing Ham Rong Mountain – the geological area created from volcanic lava. From here, you will enjoy unique and beautiful shapes.

We visit the following points nearby together:

  • Orchid Garden 1- 2,
  • Pear Garden,
  • Cat Apple Garden,
  • Central Garden,
  • Broken Stone,
  • Sky Gate 1 and 2,
  • Dragon Head,
  • Crocodile Island,
  • Thien Thach Lam Area,
  • Hon Phat Ba,
  • Cloud Stadium.

All these sites are located in the Ham Rong tourist area. This place can give you a panoramic view of Sa Pa. Typically, on a few days, you can also enjoy and participate in ethnic dances and songs of the Northwestern mountains.

Return to the hotel to rest.

7:00 pm: Have dinner.

After dinner, you’re free to explore Sapa town at night. You can visit the Sapa Stone Church, go to the night market, and enjoy the typical grilled dishes of this land.

Day 4: Sapa – Fansipan – Noi Bai / Hanoi Airport (B, L)

Have breakfast at the hotel before checking out to put your luggage in the car.

8:00 am: We depart for Fansipan cable car station, and take the longest 3-wire cable car in the world with a length of 6,292.5m.

Muong Hoa Valley, Hoang Lien Son range, and beautiful clouds appear under your feet as a natural picture, spotted by wildflowers.

After 15 minutes of the cable car, you continue to climb 604 stairs to reach the top of Fansipan. Most people like to take pictures to keep this memorable moment on the high peak of Fansipan at 3,142 m above sea level.

After enjoying the view and becoming a photographer on the top of the mountains, you return to the cable car to go down.

We have lunch at a restaurant and take a rest before going back to Hanoi.

2:00 pm, the car will drive you to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

We can drop you at Noi Bai Airport or your hotel in Hanoi City Center.

End the exciting 4-days-3-nights tour from Hanoi. And see you again in the next itinerary to explore Vietnam.

What to note:

  • When traveling with us, you have bought and had your own international travel insurance. This is because our Vietnamese standard insurance is just for documents, not valuable for use at international requests.
  • In case of tour cancellation due to an objective incident such as a natural disaster, epidemic, or due to ship or other transfer means of delay or cancellation, Vietnamdrive will not be responsible for any additional compensation other than refund charges for unused services of that tour.
  • Inform the guide and request to prepare vegetarian meals if you are vegetarian or dieting.
  • You take care of your own personal belongings and luggage and follow the recommendations of the tour guide and service staff.
  • You should bring hats, do not wear high heels, bring sunscreen, sunglasses, swimwear, anti-allergy medicine, and other needs for your own.
  • The weather at the top of Fansipan is often below 10 degrees, so you should bring a jacket and a scarf to avoid catching a cold. In winter, from Nov to Jan, the temperature on Mount Fansipan can be below 0 degrees.
