Details of experience:
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (L)
In the morning, our tour guide and car will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (or Tan Son Nhat Airport). Then, start exploring the beauty of Southern Vietnam.
You will visit famous tourist destinations in Ho Chi Minh City, such as:
War Remnants Museum: where there are many precious documents and images about the Vietnam War. The tour guide will take you around the museum to see the items on display here.
Thien Hau pagoda: a holy temple of the Chinese living in Ho Chi Minh City.
Independent Hall: this place was formerly the headquarters of the US, the South Vietnam Government during wartime.
Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Post Office: the two ancient buildings in the city center with the Gothic style.
Cho Lon – also called Binh Tay Market: one of the famous markets in Saigon, which has a busy trading exchange of Vietnamese and Chinese communities in Ho Chi Minh City. You can also find many Chinese restaurants there with tasty food.
During the time to explore the highlights, we stop at a famous Pho restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City for lunch.
The tour is estimated from 4 to 5 hours. The rest of the time is for you to take pictures and see Saigon’s life on your own.
And the nightlife in Saigon is very typical and active, so you do not miss to go out to enjoy that style.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai in Tay Ninh – Cu Chi (B, L)
8:30 am, we will depart for Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Temple. This one is the most typical and famous temple in Vietnam.
Built in 1926, the temple in Tay Ninh is the headquarters of Caodaism – a unique religion in Vietnam.
Here, you will have the opportunity to experience a noon prayer ceremony, which takes place at the Cao Dai Temple once a day.
After visiting and taking pictures of this temple, we have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you are free to rest.
1:30 pm, we continue the journey to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. This system is one of the well-known historical relics that still holds an important mark of the resistance wars for national liberation. The tunnels have a length of over 220km and hidden ventilation systems in the bushes. We take time to explore their short parts.
The tunnel system includes various rooms: the infirmary, living room, kitchen, storage room, and working space.
When visiting Cu Chi tunnels, you can learn how old Vietnamese guerrillas built, lived, and fought while in the tunnels, defeating the American army with modern weapons.
You also see simple homemade weapons and bamboo traps. Besides, you can crawl in a tunnel to feel how hard the locals lived underground.
In addition, you will enjoy Cu Chi tapioca dishes, which were the basic food of soldiers during the fight in this place. Also, you can take an opportunity to shoot guns at the shooting range at the tunnel on your own budget.
5:00 pm – 5:30 pm, the car will take us back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Get your own time to have fun in the evening and overnight at the hotel in HCMC.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho in Mekong Delta (B, L)
8:30 am, the car and guide will come to the hotel to pick you up and take you to My Tho – one city in the Mekong Delta. On the way, you will see the rice fields along the road and the famous Vam Co Dong River.
10:30 am, we visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. This oldest temple in the South is a distinctive temple in the Mekong Delta.
Then, continue exploring My Tho. The driver drives us to the boat station to take a boat ride along the Tien River, watching the scenery on both sides of the peaceful river, passing the four famous islets of Long (Dragon), Lan(Unicorn), Quy (Turtle), Phung(Phoenix) – the four holy animals in Vietnam, and admiring Rach Mieu Bridge.
The boat comes to Thoi Son isle, also known as Lan islet. The tour guide takes you for a walk to visit the old houses and orchards, enjoy seasonal fruits, and listen to the traditional song of the South (Don Ca Tai Tu).
After that, we will visit the honey farm, enjoy lemon honey tea, and see the python farm to take pictures with the python.
12:30 pm, have lunch at a local restaurant with local food. After lunch, take a while to rest.
After lunch, we return to the boat and go down the Tien River. We will arrive at Ben Tre province to visit the coconut candy-making factory. You can experience making coconut candies, one of the famous Vietnamese candies.
4:30 pm, the bus will take you back to HCMC and enjoy Saigon night.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Can Gio Monkey Island (B, L)
8:30 am, we depart to visit Monkey Island in Can Gio District. On the way, the tour guide will inform you about the culture and history of the Can Gio district.
10:30 am, when coming to Monkey Island, you will be amazed by the beauty of the peaceful scenery there. Thousands of monkeys live and play freely on the island. In particular, they are very friendly, so you can feed them and take pictures.
Next, you will visit the conservation area of the crocodile and some animals living in the mangrove forest. Then go to a small boat to explore the mangrove forest and the relics of the Rung Sac revolutionary base, where the soldiers stayed during the Vietnam War.
1:00 pm, we have lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, you are free to rest or take a photo around Can Gio.
3:00 pm, we get in the car to drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, we can stop at the Can Gio seafood market to see the activities of the local people.
5:30 pm, we reach the city center of HCMC. The car will take you to your hotel in HCMC or Tan Son Nhat airport.
We end the Ho Chi Minh City Tour 4 days 3 nights. Goodbye and see you again with another tour to explore Vietnam.
