Han Market in Danang City

Despite being a modern building, Han Market proudly preserves the traditional shopping style of the local people in Da Nang City, Vietnam, a testament to their rich cultural heritage.

Han Market is a big shopping center in Da Nang City, near the Han River. Its four sides connect with Hung Vuong, Tran Phu, Tran Hung Dao, and Bach Dang streets.

Most Da Nang City visitors also come to the market to buy fruits and souvenirs. The stores inside the market are organized well and are eye-catching, with various colors.

Han Market, a testament to the city's rich history, was built in the 1940s of the 20th century, from a small trading area of a group of local people.

In 1990, the Han market was rebuilt with entirely new construction. It has two floors and an area of 28,000m2 and was reopened on the anniversary of Da Nang's liberation on March 29, 1991.

Standing on the second floor looking down, you will feel a bustling atmosphere under different light colors and crowded shoppers.

The Han market's architecture is friendly and airy. It has 576 stalls and 36 kiosks. More than 30 different categories of goods are displayed neatly and orderly to help shoppers feel comfortable when shopping here.

Han market is quite diversified, with various kinds of goods, including footwear, clothes, fabrics, handbags, souvenirs, gifts, seafood foods, and dried fish.

In developed countries such as England, France, Germany, and the USA, the market is just a history. Thus, many tourists from those countries arrive in Da Nang, Vietnam, and they are eager to visit the Han market just to experience the traditional shopping style.

With its beautiful location and unique style, Han Market is not just a shopping center, but a cultural hub that's a must-visit on the itineraries of many guests planning to explore Da Nang City.
