Hanoi Opera House
Hanoi Opera House, a unique theatre in Vietnam near the Old Quarter, was built by the French people in 1901 and completed in 1911 in a French neoclassical style.
The appearance of this building is classic beauty decorated with delicate motifs, highlighted by many giant white columns in front. It has become a beautiful backdrop for many young people's pictures, in addition to watching shows here.
The Opera House of Hanoi has 598 seats on three floors and a spacious stage. The audience room floor is covered with high-quality bricks and fireproof carpets. The chairs are designed in the classic French style of the nineteenth century.
The Hanoi Theater has organized many top art performances in Hanoi and Vietnam, featuring talented artists. These can be an exciting part of exploring the city and learning more about the local artistic life.
Sometimes, big companies also organize their marketing campaigns in front of this building, attracting hundreds of young people who can block the roads around here.
The time to visit this opera house is from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. However, almost all shows start after 8:00 pm; the other activities and performances can be scheduled at different times.
The price for a usual show at the Hanoi Opera House is 200,000 VND and over. However, various shows have different ticket prices. Thus, you may find more details about a specific show at the performance table of this opera house.
The theater tour is a new activity organized by the staff and lasts only 1 hour and 30 minutes. This tour is considered a new activity to explore architecture and stage art, so it is suitable for those interested in and wanting to learn more about these topics.
For us, buying a ticket for a show at the Hanoi Opera House and arriving 30 minutes early to visit and take pictures in front of the theater is enough to satisfy our group's feelings and wishes.
