To travel from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre, you can choose one of two routes:
Route 1 from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre
We check the first route from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre City. You start from the city center of Ho Chi Minh and go to Binh Chanh. Then, at the intersection of Binh Thuan, you turn to Highway 1. You continuously go about 16km through My Yen, Vinh Loc, and to the Ben Luc Bridge.
After coming to the Ben Luc Bridge, you continue running about 14km further, crossing the Tan An Bridge. You will reach the city of Tan An, Long Giang. And you go straight through Tan An City to Tien Giang province.
From Tien Giang province, go straight to the city of My Tho, Tien Giang. From My Tho, you continue to follow the Highway 60. In this direction, you will cross the Rach Meu Bridge, about 13 km, to Ben Tre City, Ben Tre Province.
When choosing this route to go from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre City, you get the route a little slower than the second way. But this route goes through many beautiful places. Traveling from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre City makes you feel different feelings.
Route 2 from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre
Now, we check the second route from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre. You will start at the city center of Ho Chi Minh and go to Binh Chanh. However, when you come to the bridge at the Binh Thuan intersection, you will not turn onto Highway 1. You will go onto the new expressway Ho Chi Minh—Trung Luong.
After going straight on the highway for about 50 km, you turn right on National Highway 1A. You go further to My Tho City, Tien Giang. Then, you go as in the first route: run on Highway 60, crossing the Rach Mieu Bridge for about 13km to Ben Tre City, Ben Tre Province.
When you choose this route, you can travel faster than the first route because you take a high-speed road.
