As a tourist paradise, Con Dao Island in the province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau appears very pure and romantic. However, this island used to be known as the terrible hell on earth.

The best time to visit Con Dao Island is in March and early April. This is the ideal time when the island has a blue sky and white clouds, creating perfect conditions to explore the beaches and local life.

These days, if you go to the sea, you can play with tiny waves long enough to enjoy the lovely, immense ocean.

This season is also the period of deciduous leaves in Con Dao. Therefore, it would be a mistake to forget to take a tour to see the rows of bare-leaf trees exposed on the rocks in the Dam Trau beach area. This beach is considered the most romantic in Con Dao, near Con Son airport.

Ly Son Island – discovering a wild angel in the sea

Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai province, Vietnam, includes three islands: Dao Lon(Big Island), Dao Be (Small Island), and Mu Cu. Big Island, also known as Cu Lao Re, is the center of Ly Son. Dao Be is also known as An Binh. Hon Mu Cu, which is in the east and close to the Big Island, is the smallest and uninhabited island.

Immersing yourself in crystal-clear water like emeralds and relaxing in beautiful, untouched nature is an unforgettable experience for every visitor. Even without diving goggles, you can see corals near the shore.

You can travel from Quang Ngai City along Highway 24B to Sa Ky Port to reach Ly Son. Then, take a speedboat to the island and rent a motorbike to visit its attractions.

The speedboats start moving daily from Sa Ky port to the island from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. When the guests become more crowded, the management board can increase the transport.

The current train ticket price from the port to the Big Island is 180,000 VND/way, and from the Big Island to the small island is 30,000 VND / time.

The Small Island of Ly Son has a beautiful beach with fine white sand surrounded by majestic lava cliffs. This must-see place offers an incredible view.

If you intend to travel to the island, choose the summer months from June to September. These months have beautiful sunny weather suitable for fun activities on the beach.

Also, if you want to discover the garlic season, from September to December, you may check the weather before traveling to Ly Son. That time is the monsoon season, and the sea is rough.

The beauty of nature will amaze you when you can enjoy the sunset at the incredible To Vo Gate or see the dawn at the lighthouse of Mu Cu island.

Tourists often organize overnight camping on Ly Son Island at Tien Beach, a small island with green coconut trees. If you want to avoid staying at the beach, you can apply for a homestay and enjoy swimming, diving, and watching coral.

For international guests, staying at Vinpearl Hotel Ly Son is the top choice. It is the biggest one and has modern accommodations and better services.

When you visit Ly Son, you can enjoy their specialties, such as garlic salad, anchovy salad, grilled squid, and seaweed salad.
